Property Compliance Inspection & Report Chances
are that most businesses have had very little, if any, experience
in disabled accessibility requirements. Many businesses are truthfully
shocked when they are sued for alleged non-compliance with the ADA
or some other accessibility requirement and discover that their facilities
do, in fact, constitute a violation of these laws. What these same individuals may not realize though is that the parking stall may not be wide enough, or the grab bars are too short and/or mounted at the wrong height, or the ramp is steeper than it is allowed to be; things that only a trained individual would typically know.
